Greetings, this is Kay E. Strong (aka professor wantanabe, resident of Second Life ^_^)!

An econometrician by professional training and a fledgling futurist by practice, I have joined the Master's in future studies program at the U of Houston. My research on active learning pedagogies for the classroom emphasizes the use of technology for supporting self-learning; Calibrated Peer Review, SimEcon and Second Life. Dragging economics out of the world of A. Smith's "pin factory" into the 21st century's Web 2.0 one is among my personal mission.
